Red points won't let me sleep tonight

Don't be scared: there'll always be a red light to keep company.

Actually the title has nothing to do with the picture, but it sounds very good!

The following portrait is just a foretaste of the material I'm working on lately, and that I'll soon get the chance to exhibit.
This picture was ispired by an expression of Mary E. Winstead during an interview; I found it very interesting, so I painted it with these two big eyes and this colored hair.

One day God took a handful of meat and created a man, forgetting his hair ... He picked up a ukulele and gave it to the man and said, "Here! Now play it."
And so he played it. 
One day God took another handful of leftover meat and created another man, this time smaller and with bad teeth and inches ... He took a pencil and gave it to the second man and said, "Here! Now draw the man before ... in less than a minute."
And so he drawed it ... in less than a minute.
Moral: God is a lazy ass.

The Dog

It's easy to represent the the usual good-looking subject, but the beauty is hidden in places we have yet to explore: it is hidden in the scars, wrinkles, the signs of life.
The beauty also lies in stray sleeping next to us.
